For this project we were provided with a full set of detainled plans issued by the projects architect. The scope of the works entailed the full landscape of the garden and driveway areas. To complete this work we installed a wrap around sandstone pathway with a circle feature patio area and raised vegetable beds. The area was then turfed to complete the rear garden. For the front of the property we installed a sleeper retaining wall and renewed the brick retainig wall that was previously crumbling away. Once the retaining structures were installed we installed the soft landscaping which included the turfing of the front lawn, planting of the hedges and large bed around the tree and the mulching of the front borders. To complete the frontage of the house we installed a permeable block paving for the driveway to comply to the planning conditions of the property.


On this project our client had already come up with a design for their garden. The concept was to create a functional family space that could be enjoyed all of the family. The lower terrace was dedicated to entertaining family guests with a custom gas fire pit and barbeque. The area was paved in a contemporary Koda Black Limestone to provide a contrast to the white rendered walls, for a little shade we added a bespoke oak pergola to the area before installing the outdoor furniture. The upper terrace of the garden wast intended for the kids but upon revisiting the project we discovered the adults had enjoyed the trampoline as much as the children. The trampoline was sunken into the ground at the centre of the garden so that the rest of the terrace could flow seamlessly around the play feature. To reduce the impact of the white rendered walls we constructed some oak raised planters and planted a Photinia x fraseri hedge.


Our clients on this project had a vision for the old rotten decking but were unsure on the feasibility of the work and whether they could achieve there ideals. Upon our initial site visit we assured them that there vision could become a reality. We then began discussing material options and adressed there concerns regarding the drainage issue they had previously had. Our design complemented the angular layout of the existing boundaries of the garden and gave them the largest space possible. We chose to use materials that complimented the original paving and the bricks were chosen as a local match to the facing brickwork of the property. To overcome the drainage issues they previously experienced we installed a large soakaway beneath the paved area and installed a drainage channel to take the water to the soakaway. The client was very pleased with the finished project and invited us back to complete further work planned for the following year.


This project took our decking team to new heights. For this project the brief was simple, create a picture perfect decking area to view the rest of the stunning gardens from. To create this amazing decking space we created our framework to allow for a picture frame border detail. The decking was installed at the same height as the new bi-fold doors to create a seamless flow from the indoor to the outdoor spaces. We installed the decking on a 45 degree angle to draw the view line across the decking extending to the rest of the manicured gardens. With the deck raised to the new height it created an ideal storage space below.


Our client on this project had a clear view in mind and although a few subtle design features needed adjustmen the overall project was largely pre planned. The project had been partially completed by previous contractors but unfortunately the majority of this work needed rectification in some way. To give the best project possible we organised any details that needed attention with the client as soon as the problem was identified, this allowed us to rectify the issue quickly and efficiently making sure the client was aware throughout the process. For the main part of our project we were instructed to carry out all the hard landscaping of the surrounding area to the swimming pool. We also undertook the finishing of the swimming pool, this included the full plumbing including the installation of a water heater, all pressure and leak testing, tiling, and installations of water fountains and automated pool covers. The finished project made the most of the beautiful south facing situation and allowed the client to view the stunning scenery toward the South Downs from the comfort of a lilo. 



This project wasn't short of its own challenges, from tight access to the sheer volume of soil removed, there was challenges at every turn. Our wonderful client had two dogs that were constantly bringing dirty paws through the new kitchen. We came up with a design that made sure that both the dogs and the owners could enjoy their home! We constructed the sleeper wall to retain the sloping garden before installing the large 120sq/m artificial grass lawn.
